Cadets in Clwyd ACF are interested in the musical side of the Army Cadet Force, these cadets are lucky because Clwyd ACF has its own Corps of Drums. Whether you are an experienced player or you just want to have a go, Clwyd ACF’s Corps of Drums can help. Any cadet aged 12-18, male or female can join The Corps of Drums.

 The Corps of Drums is made up of four different instruments:
-Side Drum
-Base Drum
-Flute
-Bugle

You can progress through a musical star grade system, whilst being a playing with The Corps of Drums. The Corps of Drums play at various occasions and local events, big and small. The Corps of Drums runs different lengths of training, from days to cadres. It is guarantied that you will enjoy yourself. The Corps of Drums experience and training is different to green, but you can quite easily participate in both types of training throughout your cadet career.

You can be part of The Corps of Drums and still take part in the normal "green" training with your Company, the Corps of Drums is an extra activity you can do in the Battalion.
